Among the oldest Cabernet Franc I have come across, these fantastic old vines in the heart of the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley were planted in 1978. Still tended by the original family that planted them, the McKenzie-Muellers, these gnarly old vines produce some of my favorite fruit each year. More pepper and spice on the Loire-Cab Franc inspired nose, this wine is elegant and earthy at the same time. 150 Cases Produced.
